BLANCHE

  • Blanche characterized by an enveloping sweetness obtained through the use of wheat flakes which add body and softness to the taste profile. Our malt gives the beer a rusticity typical of the style, while the orange peels and coriander seeds added during boiling work in synergy with the yeast to create a complex aromatic profile. The fruity and citrus notes emerge distinctly, offering a light and refreshing beer.

HISTORY:  Blanche, or Witbier, has its roots in the Middle Ages, when northern European brewers used a blend of herbs and spices called Gruit in their recipes. In its modern form, Blanche is characterized by the variable percentage of unmalted wheat, which gives the beer an opalescent appearance.
